she is missed for sure...the big ride last year was amazing and it inspired me to be safer on my bike. I have had close calls on my bike and I have learned what to do to ride safer on the road. I never knew her but her life inspired me to what to be better
ReplyDeleteBrynn Barton has inspired me to love more, do things I fear, and laugh more. And I watch out for people on bikes, watch the bike lanes. What a fast year it has been. Make your life count. Brynn is everywere. Do something to inspire others.

So sad to lose young and bright people too soon. Especially so with the circumstances surrounding Brynn's death. I'm not sure how someone lives with themselves after doing something like this to another human being, so I hope that whoever it is sees the light and comes forward, for their own sake.
ReplyDeleteWe need to hold people responsible for their actions. Marty Kasteler is severely injured, and the driver gets away; Brynn Barton is killed, and the driver gets away. What kind of place is this that someone can be murdered without repercussions? And every day I see people speed, pass too close, ignore rules of the road: not cyclists, drivers. It sets up the situation that leads to injuries like Marty's, deaths like Brynn's: when we fail to curb the bad element, we reap the whirlwind.
