Saturday's Tweed Ride was about more than bikes

When pulling up to Salt Lake's Tweed Ride this last Saturday, it was immediately apparent that the event wasn't just about bikes. Not to be mistaken, the bikes were all beautiful and we rode in style and had a lot of fun, but they were ancillary. It wasn't just a bike ride; it was also a fashion show (and a great one at that). More than 60 people gathered at Library Square Saturday to show off their threads and ride around our fine city in style. Thanks especially to Andrew Smith (tinnedfruit.org) for taking photos of the event and contributing to SaltCycle.org. Thanks for other photos taken by Deb Henry, Steve Jensen, Zachary PiƱa, Felix Flores, Kara Hallstrom. Be sure to check back here for updates on 2012's second Tweed Ride, which will take place this fall.
