Admission and parking is free.

Billed as “une fête de la petit dejeuner”, or a breakfast party, the event will be hosted at Megaplex 12 at The Gateway, located at 165 South Rio Grande Street in Salt Lake City. The live broadcast will be shown in Theatre 3, which seats more than 300 people.  Special prizes will be given away throughout the morning from various Tour of Utah sponsors and partners.  And pro cyclist Tyler Wren of the Jamis/Sutter Home Pro Team will be on hand to meet race fans.

This event is being hosted by organizers of the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah to promote the sport of cycling and the upcoming Tour of Utah stage race, August 9-14, 2011. Of significance is that five ProTeams competing at the Tour de France will be racing in this year’s Tour of Utah (Team RadioShack, Team BMC, HTC-Highroad, Garmin-Slipstream, and Liquigas-Cannondale).   On the live broadcast next Friday, race fans will see these teams, and all the top pros, complete Stage 19 of the Tour de France, an epic 109-kilometer race from Modane Valfréjus in the French Alps.  It includes successive climbs of the Col du Télégraphe and the Galibier, en route to a mountain-top finish at l’Alpe d’Huez.
