UPDATED: Photos of the 300 East Cycle Track (so far)

Construction is almost done on the 300 East Cycle Track project. Little remains to be done on both sides of the project, and there will be an open house / unveiling soon to come. We've noticed a few of you enjoying the cycle track and so have we, so we took some photos. Enjoy.

Riding the 300 East Cycle Track - Almost done!
With the help of the lovely SLC Streets Division paint and sign crew,
some last minute changes could be made on Monday. Solid lines at driveways
were dashed to help motorists see they were crossing the cycle track and to help
bicyclists know where cars may be crossing.

  1. Hmmm..... So this is it? While I enjoy the concept, I was really hoping for some sort of a buffer beyond the raised poles, a bump or something to encourage automobiles to not park in it. Guess we will wait and see if it becomes extended parking. Hoping for the best, lest we have to bring out the clowns.
