The Amgen Tour of California, which started in Santa Rosa and ended last Sunday in Los Angeles, featured many riders with Utah roots, like Levi Leipheimer, who attended Rowland Hall, and Dave Zabriskie, who took 2nd place overall in the tour and who began racing for the pre-Contender Bicycles team, The Bagel Boys, in the early 90s.
