Calling all cyclists in the Salt Lake Valley! The Sugar House Streetcar project is holding a public workshop THIS THURSDAY January 26 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Kimball Distributing, 2233 South 300 East, South Salt Lake City. Attend this meeting to help design and critique the open greenway space and trail which run alongside the streetcar. This is important: let's show them that bike trails and other human-scaled infrastructure is important to us by showing up to this meeting and sharing our opinions. The desire for open space on both the north and south sides of the Sugar House Streetcar line was repeatedly expressed during the public meetings held thus. Until now, improvements such as trails, landscaping, lighting, and site furniture have been referred to in general terms. The next step in the design process is to define and cost, block-by-block, which improvements will be constructed within the streetcar corridor:

YOU helped determine the design of the Sugar House Streetcar. NOW, come and help define the improvements to the OPEN SPACE on the north and south sides of the streetcar line.
- Design how the OPEN SPACE and TRAIL will look and function.
- Critique design CONCEPTS that will be presented.
- Provide FEEDBACK specific to your property and/or block.
All residents of Salt Lake City, South Salt Lake City, and Salt Lake County are invited to participate.
