Bike Church every Sunday

Zed is back in town and he has something up his sleeve. Come one come all, every Sunday afternoon for Bike Church, a lazy Sunday bike ride with anything but your average bikes. Test ride our freak bikes or bring your own. Zed is the king of freak bikes, and as such, has organized this ride. Bring your friends for a good time with swing bikes, tall bike, long bikes, and anything else you could imagine.

  1. i appreciate you posting this.
be it know however, i am not the bike church, just as you are not saltcycle. it is important we move beyond figurehead roles, and let the cycling community comprise of people, not individuals.

i am moving away May 10th. however, i don't want you to think this the end of Bike Church. because Peaceful Uprising will continue to have their coffee hour, it will continue to be a meet up place for cyclist to go and ride.

it will simply just change the base, perhaps lending the key to the freak bicycles to another?

but Bike Church is beyond just the freak bikes, it is a love of all bicycles.

no matter what happens, Bike Church can continue. even without this freak's bikes. because Peace Up will continue to have their coffee hour.. and the park, Liberty Park will always be a rad place close by to ride to no matter the bicycle.

    this is a community.
let us continue it that way.

would appreciate if you would change the description to be less of "Zeds" event and more of Bike Church's.

    thanks.

    z.

  2. Hi Tom

Bike Church sounds great, and I would come if it were not during my non-bike church. Just know that I like knowing that bike church is happening each week!

I wonder if you could let your folks know, in case any bike church parishoners want to go on *another* bike ride on Sunday, I and a few friends meet at 9th E and 9th S every Sunday night at 10 pm to ride around downtown and into some forgotten corners of the city. Here's a link to the facebook event page for this gathering: http://www.facebook.com/editgroup.php?gid=244632465552347&sk=information#!/event.php?eid=114445298646226

If there's a better place for me to post this info, please let me know.

    Thanks!

    TR
