Friends, family hold memorial bike ride following death of Utah County cyclist

On Saturday, June 9, Cathi Turner suffered serious injuries after clipping a roadway construction sign and crashing onto roadside rocks and debris. She died later at the hospital.

Cathi and a friend were 9 miles into a 30 mile bike ride from Riverton to Saratoga Springs and back. They were unable to complete that ride together. In Cathi's memory and honor, a group is organizing Cathi's Ride this Saturday, June 16 at 9:00 am. Together, they will complete the ride she was not able to, along with others of the biking community who would like to join. Cathi's Ride will begin at the LDS Church building on 12200 S. 3200 W., out to 12600 S. to Redwood Road, then on to Saratoga Springs, and back. Please join them to honor her wonderful life and love of cycling.
