Maybe you've seen one or two fewer parking spaces in the city, seemingly taken over by locked-up bikes. Salt Lake City's bike corral program, similar to Portland, Oregon's on-street bike parking initiatives, has installed four bike corrals so far since April and is planning on installing four more at new locations in Salt Lake City. Existing on-street bike parking corrals include Squatters Brewery and Brugges Waffles on 3rd South, Twilite Lounge on 2nd South, and Smith-Crown Company in Sugar House.

Salt Lake City Streets and Transportation crews are planning to install four corrals on August 30th, at Sugar House Pub and Caputos on 15th East; and September 6th, at Coffee Noir and Bar X on 2nd South.

Keep it tuned to saltcycle.com for updates on bicycle parking, and other city projects like this.
