Bike Gyver's Budget Bicycle Lighting

Everybody has an opinion about Professional Cycling these days. I was glad to hear the France bicycle tour ended before I found myself socially obliged to watch any of it. Better to ride than to watch.  As for Lance Armstrong, I want to express a sincere thanks for popularizing the essential budget bicycle light attachment system. Presenting, "The Rico Wristband".
In Salt Lake City, showing a headlight on your bicycle after
dusk is the law, in addition to a red rear reflector
and a white side reflector (usually in a spoke).
I have also had success in mounting
my tail light with Rico's wrist bands.
For years I have struggled to get lights on my novice/infrequent bicyclist friends' handlebars-a set of quality bicycle lights are not often as cheap as the ticket for lacking.  As a frequent user, I invested in a bicycle specific hadlight, and it worked stupendously until it was lifted from my bars a month ago. Totally Hip!

Eventually, I have arrived at a convenient, yet secure method of
attaching the inexpensive LED flashlights-found at every convenient store checkout.  Thanks to the advertising budget of my nearest and dearest burrito stop, I now have a supply of affordable, secure, easily removable, bicycle light fasteners-and you can too-eat lunch at Rico's (NE corner of 800S & 500E).  P.S. Ace Hardware (SE corner of 400S, 600E) is known to sell tail lights, sans the seat post attachment for $1-it's good to have a spare.
