BIKE SUMMER SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED!!





WHAT >> Bike Summer is a slew of activities and rides and other non-competitive events that will bring together hundreds of people throughout the summer months infun and games, pool parties, picnics, and the like.

WHEN >> During June, July, August, and September, there will be more than ten rides and other ev
ents. Most events begin at 11:00 am on the date indicated (and usually on Saturdays).


WHERE >> Unless otherwise noted, all BikeSummer events meet at the Northeast (NE) corner of Liberty Park (900 S 700 E) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The rides will have diverse destinations and routes but will not be strenuous or hilly (with the exception of the InZane Hill Climb). All rides are suitable for all ages and abilities.

  2. Looks like it is shaping up to be a very fun, bikey summer. One thing, tweed is not a very August-friendly fabric, but I am excited for SLC to have its own Tweed Run nonetheless!

Though I would love to see some wool three-piece throwback suits (Joergen, I know you have one among your countless suits), but I think that some thin wool pants (3/4 length of course) and a collared shirt would be just as dashy, and not nearly as hot or uncomfortable. Ladies, bloomers, please. Thank you.

  7. Davey, well, yes, it is too late only because I think we'll use this calendar just for our fun rides to get a "bike prom" sort of crowd out to these events. Non-race, non-competitive, non-grueling SLC alleycat. But! I think we need to throw as many alleycats as we can too. Let's just do it the old way, one at a time?
