Salt Lake City Bikeways Map - Published May 2011

Statement from Salt Lake City's Department of Transportation:


The Salt Lake City Green Bikeways Map helps connect locals and visitors with the City's urban environment and provides valuable resource to experience the city while making more sustainable choices. The map helps locate bike routes, public transit, trail heads, sites of interest, farmers markets, local parks, open space, community gardens and many other places that highlight the local flavors that make Salt Lake City an internationally recognized green city.

PRINTED MAPS WILL BE AVAILABLE STARTING FRIDAY, MAY 20
  • The official release of the map will be at the Bike Bonanza, 4:00 – 8:00 PM Gallivan Center 239 S Main St, Salt Lake City, UT. Maps will be available at the SLC Transportation Division's booth at the Bike Bonanza. Please come to the Bonanza to pick up your copy!
  • Free printed paper copies of the map will be available for pick up at the Salt Lake City & County Building Information Desk located at 451 South State Street (2nd floor), or the Transportation Division Office at 349 South 200 East, Suite 450. You can also get printed copies of the map:
    • At local bike shops.
    • From the SLC Green booth at many fairs and events over the course of the summer.
  • A special, $4 waterproof edition will be printed on durable plasticized paper, and will be available for sale at the following local businesses:
    • Bicycle Center
    • Bingham Cyclery
    • Downtown Aliance
    • Fishers
    • Guthrie
    • SLC Bicycle Co.
    • Saturday Cycles
    • Squatter's Pub
    • Wasatch Touring
    • Wild Rose
The City would like to thank all those who were involved in making this map possible, especially the Mayor's Bicycle Advisory Committee and the map sponsors. This map was also significantly funded in part by the U.S. Department of Energy's Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Grant program, as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

  1. Tom this new map is the best!! I'm raising my one little voice to say good work to who-ever they had putting it together! Free wallpaper = money in the bank... oh yeah!
