Salt Lake City's 2011 Bikeways Map Draft is now available for your review as a JPEG file on Flickr.

Bikeways Map 2011
Please send any input you have on the map, cartography, typographical errors, omissions, or routes by:
TUESDAY, APRIL 12
Email your comments to bikeslc@slcgov.com and to Tom.Millar@slcgov.com
If there is a particular area about which you have comments, you might want to zoom in and send us a "screen shot." On Windows computers, use Control-Print Screen, then paste into email. On Mac Computers, use Command-Control-Shift-4, then drag to select a portion of the screen - then paste into email.
Two notes about known errors/omissions on the map:
1. We know that some of the text (such as the title of the map!) shifted in the export from our GIS software. This will be corrected.
2. Private and charter schools will be included on the final map.
There is some degradation of image quality in the JPEG file - the final print quality will be better.
We will finalize the map and print it in time for Bike Month festivities in May. We are still working on the cover art and back side including advertising and text.
I'd like to acknowledge the hard work and assistance of Tom Millar (unpaid super-intern) and Kevin Bell (GIS Coordinator for Salt Lake City) in producing this map.
