A new look?

What does everyone thing of sprucing up this site so that it can be a central source of ALL bike news, advocacy, activities, etc., in Salt Lake City? In that vein, I think we need a logo, something recognizable. Something to put on flyers, stickers, and the blog, to make everything aesthetically pleasing.

Here's some that I've thought up. They're not in any way good, nor do I have any experience in graphic design, but I know a lot of you do, so post em up or send them to my email. longskull at gmail dot com.

  1. ^hahah. When I read Dima's comment I imagined him saying it all snappy and pissed off. Haha.

I like the first one more, design wise, it's more catchy and interesting, but I wish the letters were closer together. The second one is good because it has a bike in it, but it's not as cool I think. I'll mess around see if I think of anything fun. Good idea, making something recognizable.

  2. Thank goodness you're doing this, Tom, people keep asking me about the bike community and I've been hesitant to send them here 'cause it looks like crap. Let's get this back to how it used to be before you left!
