FTP, threw this alleycat with a deal: The boys of the community
will make an alleycat for just girls to race in.

Who wants to host an alleycat for the ladies?

My hands are tied with Blackout on September 12th (look for details soon..) and Ride Like a Pirate Day on September 19th and the big huge Bike Porn 2 Tour October 10th-12th.

  1. Woooohoooo!!!!!!!! You did an amazing job with this video Zed! Thank you so much for racing along with everyone and taking all these awesome pics. Good choice in music, too! Once again I want to thank everyone that volunteered and donated prizes: Penny, Tres, Logan, Anna, Alyssa, Seth, Candace, Hiram, Dani, Chelsea, Tyler, Kit, Neel, Jessie, Diana, Brandon, Tom, Jeremy, Ross, William, SLC Bicycle Co., Disorderly House, Slowtrain, W Lounge, Tavernacle, and the Heavy Metal Shop. Most of all I want to thank everyone that raced last night! I think everyone finished except for James (so everyone knows, he has suffered two broken arms, but he is relatively well) and I hope that you all had a good time whether you placed or not. Here are the first 13 people to come in out of 34 participants (I apologize in advance if your name is spelled wrong):

    1. Davey Davis
    2. Al Johnston
    3. Chris Ginzton
    4. Matt Ross
    5. Tom Gorman
    6. Lindsey Howard/Gary Hurst
    7. Alan Berg
    8. Chase Hyer
    9. John Moreton
    10. Dima Hurlblet
    11. Cedar Coleman
    12. Brent Hulme

Thanks again and I can't wait to race in the ladies alley cat! Direct all the gals you know on bikes to myspace.com/ftpgirls so we get more women participating at events like this.

  2. Yay! thanks everyone!

Lindsey talked to James as well, apparently he was not at fault, so that's cool. Dima and Cedar got hassled for riding bikes at the accident site, and threatened with tickets, though they didn't break any laws either... Watch out out there guys and gals!

Look out for the girls cat after Ride Like a Pirate Day!

Hey Zed, will you send me a copy of that photo of me+Al+Chris? I don't mind if it's blurry.

  3. One of the stops was at Kilby Court and the participants had to wear at least 2 items of hipster clothing and get their picture taken. I've uploaded all those pics onto my personal flickr pool:

They're hilarious. Also, I forgot to mention that the DFL for the Alley Scat was given to Aarin Tran, but there was some confusion and the true DFL was Aaron McKinstry-Luepke. So congrats Aaron!
