Schwinn Red Devil


This is a picture of the Schwinn Red Devil. It was made in 1941, has 252 gear inches, and was said to go 108 miles per hour. The fork looks a little stange in this picture, but I think that's just the camera angle. Other pictures show a normal fork rake.

  2. I heard the rider had to get pulled up to speed by a truck. And I would not bomb down no hill with that, if you had to stop and tried to skid you would probably tear your legs apart.

  3. yeah, i think they pedal it but use a truck or a train to draft off of to get up to speed :) how fun!
