The tour de slurpee! is the ultimate ride for slurpees on 7-11 @ 7:11a and 7:11p visiting 11 locations in Salt Lake City.

On 7-11, (Friday, July 7th) starting @ 7:11a @ gallivan plaza it runs the course of 11 7-Eleven stops once totaling 16 miles. Then it breaks for 12 hours, gets back together @ 7:11p @ gallivan plaza for another 11 7-Eleven stop run and 16 miles more.

And what are we to do on these rides? Simple. Suck Slurpees! If we visit all 11 of them, that is 70+ ozs of slurpee consumption for free. Thats akin to a camel backs worth of slurpees all for free.

  4. dude, the ride's good too, that means less puking. I'm excited. Let's plan on a ride rather than a race barring an announcement from the guys who were going to plan it.

  5. Last year I tried to get a few slurpees on 7-11 but since I didn't get there until around 8pm I was told they were out of the free slurpee cups...it was a huge bummer. I hope that is not the case this year.

  6. I don't know if they will be out @ the 7:11p ride, so please bring a few bucks so you can get some mini slurpees, or a cheap-o refill.

  7. Don't drink the slurpies too fast or you may get a ticket for biking with brain freeze.

  8. Grr. I looked into the price of spoke cards. With Mike gone it's:
    11x17
    $1.00 Lamination
    $.90 printed sheet

    8 spoke cards per sheet:
    $.24 per spoke card

    or $9 for 40.

This is through the media center at the U.
