How To: Unsubscribe To The Salt Lake City Bicycling Mailing Lists.

The Salt Lake City Bicycling Mailing Lists are all volunteer ran and so if you want to remove yourself
from the list you have to do it yourself. We won't unsubscribe you. Here is how you remove yourself. (example links open in a new window)

1. Scroll to the bottom of the mailing list email and click the link starting with "http://lists."[example]

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your email address in the box beneath "To unsubscribe from Commmunity" and click "Unsubscribe or edit options".[example]

3. Click "Unsubscribe."[example]"

4. Login to your email and open the message starting with "community-request@" and click the long url link in the middle.[example]

5. A new webpage will load, click unsubscribe.[example]

You are now unsubscribed.[example]

Feel free to distribute this to anyone asking how to unsubscribe on any of these mailing lists. It will be tagged 'unsubscribe' and be available on saltcycle.com

  1. I love the fleets of 'unsubscribe' requests... they're a subtle reminder to everyone that they've been ranting on their pet-peeves far too long to be interesting... :)

  4. i think to get on the mailing list you have to rub your tummy and pat your head while singing Duran Duran and wearing a tutu (only a tutu). What, that isn't the way. Damn you Zed, another embarrassing thing to add to my resume that could have been avoided.

At least is it not like the unsubscribe requests on the collective list that get an answer on what to so, and then get a response from someone else asking to be removed. Which I might add that I restrained from jumping in and making snide remarks because I have been trying to be less of a jerk lately. we'll see how long that lasts.
