Remove ads from Saltcycle Web Messages & other tips.

images.jpegBeing unofficially non-profit, SaltCycle doesn't look good with advertisements. So when Web Messages started plastering ads onto its chat, I searched for a solution, found one and now will share it:

(1.) Download and install firefox.
(2.) Download and install adblock.
(3.) Visit www.saltcycle.com.
(4.) Right-click(win)/Control-click(mac) the text ad and choose "Adblock iFrame":

(5.) Delete all the extra url information after the ".com/" and put a "*" after it.

(6.) Click "OK". (this method can be used for any advertisement on the Internet)

(If anyone knows of a script to remove ads on the actual code, then drop a line.)
